How far in advance should I book a wedding photographer in Dar es Salaam?

We recommend booking at least 6 to 12 months before your wedding date, especially for peak seasons between June–August and December–January. A signed contract and deposit secures your date exclusively.

Do you cover traditional Tanzanian and Muslim wedding ceremonies?

Absolutely. We cover Nikah ceremonies, Ngoma celebrations, Henna/Lamu nights, and multi-day traditional Tanzanian weddings.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos and video after the wedding?

Edited wedding photos are typically delivered within 4–6 weeks. Cinematic highlight films are delivered within 6–10 weeks. All files are delivered via private online gallery or secure file transfer.

What is the difference between a wedding highlight film and a full wedding film?

A highlight film (3–7 minutes) is a cinematic edit perfect for social media. A full wedding film (30–90 minutes) is a documentary-style record of the entire day.

Do you travel outside Dar es Salaam for weddings?

Yes — we cover weddings across Tanzania, including Zanzibar, Arusha, Mwanza, and Dodoma, as well as destination weddings internationally. Travel fees are itemised transparently in your quote.

How many photographers and videographers will be at our wedding?

Standard packages include one lead photographer and one videographer. For larger weddings, we recommend a two-photographer and two-camera team.

Can we meet with you before booking to discuss our wedding vision?

Of course. We offer a free consultation either in person in Dar es Salaam or via video call for clients upcountry or abroad.

What equipment do you use, and do you have backup equipment on the day?

We shoot on professional-grade mirrorless camera systems and always carry full backup camera bodies, lenses, audio equipment, and lighting. Reliability is part of our service.

Do you provide drone (aerial) photography and videography?

Yes, drone coverage is available as an add-on to most packages, subject to location and local aviation regulations in Tanzania. We handle all required permissions and clearances.

What happens if it rains or there is bad weather on our wedding day?

We've shot in all conditions — and often, overcast skies produce the most beautiful, dramatic images. We come fully prepared with weather-appropriate equipment and indoor backup plans agreed in advance with your venue.

How do we secure our booking and what are your payment terms?

Bookings are secured with a signed contract and a 30% deposit, with the balance due 1 month before your wedding date. We accept mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money), bank transfer, and cash.
