The four lavaan are the holiest moments of a Sikh wedding. We use long lenses positioned at a respectful distance, with absolutely no movement during the recitation. Our cameras are set to silent mode, and we never use flash. The result is intimate, reverent footage that honours the profound spiritual significance of the ceremony while capturing every sacred detail.

Yes — while we are based permanently in Dar es Salaam, we regularly travel for destination Sikh and Punjabi weddings across East Africa and beyond. We have documented Anand Karaj ceremonies in Zanzibar, Arusha, Nairobi, and Kampala. Travel-inclusive packages are available for destination weddings — please enquire with your specific location and dates.

Your fully edited digital photographs are delivered within 4–6 weeks of your wedding day. For cinematography, your highlight film (4–5 min) is delivered within 6–8 weeks, and a full feature film (30–90 min) takes 8–10 weeks. We also offer same-day teaser reels so you have something to share immediately with family and friends. Albums and prints follow after you've selected your favourites from the gallery.

For a typical Sikh wedding, we deploy a team of 3–4 professionals: a lead photographer, a lead cinematographer, a second camera operator, and an aerial drone specialist. This ensures complete coverage — the Anand Karaj in the gurdwara, the baraat procession outside, and simultaneous candid moments — without any gaps. For larger multi-venue weddings, we can scale the team accordingly.
