Working at Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, we arrive before guests to scout each space and set up our equipment. We liaise directly with the Hyatt events coordinator to understand the day's timeline and ensure seamless access to all spaces.
We know which areas need additional lighting and which natural light sources to leverage. We time harbour terrace portraits around the golden hour at 5:30pm when the Dar es Salaam harbour glows extraordinary amber and gold.
Our two photographers work simultaneously — one with bride preparations in the bridal suite, another with the groom and family. We use drone aerial coverage for rooftop shots and stunning harbour panoramas. The same-day edit reel is ready for the reception.
