The henna evening is full of colour, family interaction, music and the smaller moments happening around the bride. We photograph the details of the henna alongside the laughter, dancing and relationships surrounding the celebration.
One of the most beautiful opportunities for bridal storytelling — the jewellery, the fabric, the preparation and the final moments before the bride enters her celebration. Carefully created portraits combine with documentary photography of what is happening naturally around her.
The Nikah is treated differently from a reception. We work quietly and respectfully while documenting the Imam, witnesses, marriage proceedings, family reactions and the moments surrounding the Islamic marriage ceremony. Where families prefer separate male and female coverage, we discuss the most suitable team structure beforehand.
When the celebration opens up, so does the photography. Entrances, family reactions, taarab, speeches, dancing, portraits, decor, food and friends who have travelled from across Tanzania and abroad. Rather than concentrating only on the bride and groom, we build a fuller visual record of the people who made the celebration what it was.
A Kitchen Party carries its own atmosphere and traditions. These gatherings can contain some of the most expressive moments of the entire wedding programme — advice, humour, singing, dancing, gifting and relationships between generations. We document both the major programme moments and everything happening between them.
Formal and candid portraits bringing together the whole family across generations — heirloom frames to treasure for years to come. For large celebrations we deploy additional photographers so both families can be covered at the same time.

Yes. We can plan photography around gender-separated celebrations and family privacy requirements. The exact arrangements are discussed with the couple and families before the wedding, and our team divides coverage between the men's and women's areas where access has been permitted. We also respect guests who do not wish to appear in photographs — that conversation happens before cameras start rolling.

Yes. A 60-person Nikah and a 600-person Harusi require very different coverage. Our team can scale coverage for large weddings using multiple photographers and cinematographers, with one camera following the couple while another photographs family reactions.
